What is Citywide Alpha?
Among churches in the NYC area, there is a growing heart for unity and an increasing hunger for a great move of evangelism. In Spring 2023, a group of churches in the NYC region banded together to launch Alpha courses across the city at the same time. We saw over 21 courses from 9 different denominations come together for this launch. With the overwhelming response to this citywide launch and a citywide Weekend Away experience, we knew we had to do it again.
As these Alphas launch in their various contexts and forms, we will come together yet again, for a joint Alpha USA Holy Spirit Weekend Away Retreat—available for all churches participating in this vision for unity and to invite more of the Holy Spirit together.

Run Alpha is a free, interactive training designed to equip churches and ministry teams across New York City to confidently run Alpha in any context.
